A striking piece, with so many different tangents to take on it: pregnancy, fetish, religion, war- the list goes on!
Wonderful focus and a beautiful model, and although I'm not a massive fan of images depicting pregnancy, you've turned this into a masterpiece with all of the other messages it shows. As well as a sense of violence with the gun, you also have the elegance of the nude female form, the enticing boots and the gentleness of a mother-to-be.
A picture of mixed feelings and ideas, and beautifully done.
The lighting and focus are wonderful as well with the light shadows. An amazing piece all around.

An artist has to be able to put something out there that is going to hit others square between the eyes once in a while.

I have no doubt this is going to stir up some emotions here and in all honesty, I think it should.

But before everyone jumps on their high horses and demand this be removed yadda yadda yadda lets look at what we are dealing with.

Its an image of a pregnant woman, wearing a burka headdress, fetish boots and carrying a gun, a real mixed bag. Not many are going to get beyond this without being offended in one way or another.

But why?

Should offence be taken because of the burka? Its an item of dress no different to the mini skirt or stockings or even a nuns habit that has been used in fetish wear for many years.

Should we be offended as she is pregnant? I hope not as its the most natural state a woman can be, and I can say the most beautiful she can be, lets not be offended by that.

Should we be offended by the shoes, hell no

What's left? The gun, should we be offended by the gun? Yes, we should always be offended by guns but I can bet this will be the one thing others will not complain about, sad reflection of life.

I love this image, not only because of what it is but because of what it will do

They really stand out from the rest, and speak essays at a first glance
