It showes just a face - but how it is shown is just so exciting and superb!
The soft transition of the purple color into her "normal" skin colors is so well done and it frames the face. The saturated yellow/orange at only one little part of her eye gives a strong eycatching element and contrasts so great with the black. Esp. that the other eye is not painted in the same way gives an open "View" to the face.
I also like the little opened mouth, like she is surprised or awaiting something.
And no background or dress disturbs this photo.
Totally impressed!
