When I did the set up for this shot my intention was to photoshop out the join in the backdrop. But once I started shooting I constructed the shot around the join. After reading your comment I quickly removed the join and in my eyes the image became very flat. Bur thanks for your input
Firstly, I love the models pose, reminds me of watching Next Top Model seeing the untrained 'high fashion' models trying to perfect signature walks. The outfit and overall look are great, the background didn't distract my attention from the model and the line in the background gave it more of an unfinished look helping to bring the model out from it, IMHO!.
Just my few cents worth.

I love the hair styling, and the outfit.
The model's body somehow seems at ease with this pose, not the 'mechanical' feel some models have. I love when models can pose properly. It really does help. The fur and stilletos is a really nice touch.
